First off, new layout! Six Feet Under replacing the old Sci-Fi, and a different colour scheme so I'll stop going "hneh, what? This isn't LJ?!" Some minor changes have been made: the icon and wallpaper sections are now (hopefully) more easy to navigate. Icons can be browsed by category or date. A header section is up, including a few used and unused pieces. Several other areas have been removed, combined or completely renovated.

Has anyone seen Gia, with Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Mitchell? I rented it out after noticing it got mentioned twice in The AfterEllen.com Hot 100 List, where both actresses made the Top 20 (!). In short, it's a HBO biopic following the life, death and self-destruction of supermodel, Gia Carangi. The film's amazing, with some superb acting.

About time, right? Funny, it takes exam period for me to find time to update. Like I've said before, just because I don't update doesn't mean I've abandoned fanart. Heck, I'm on livejournal practically every day
I've got a couple of simple wallpapers based on the Donnie Darko and Pan's Labyrinth movie posters. They're the ones I was referring to last post. I've also got some more icons and a Battlestar Galactica wall, which I actually had a lot more fun with than it seems. Cyber cookie for anyone who notices ;)

New colour scheme, same header. I swore to myself I'd stick to layouts with dark content on light background, but guess what? It only took a month and a half for it to claw at my brain. So, there it is. Meet the new layout, same as the old one.
I'm also possibly insane. I've created a Stargate Atlantis manip with a Fantastic Four theme, in reference to the greatest conversation on television ever. I've turned it into a wallpaper, with 8 matching icons.

Updated various pages, like my profile and other oddities. One new wallpaper featuring Six (and Gaius) from Battlestar Galactica. (An awesome show, by the way. If you aren't watching, why not?!). I actually modified this into a header for myself, here, if you were curious. Anyway, pretty simple wallpaper. I've got a desaturated version as well, for anyone interested.

So, Blanket Skies is back online. I'm hoping to have more time this year and be able to have updates within a year of each other, heh. I've completely recoded the entire site; a lot of it's just experimental, so if it glitches...I screwed up. Which is likely. Everything should be up, except the wallpaper section. It's coming.
